running gtkradiant with gtk-qt-engine theme 
(http://www.freedesktop.org/Software/gtk-qt) will cause a seg fault (trunk),  
gtkradiant-1.5.0-2005-06-26 will fail gracefully but not load any jpeg  
textures. I think the problems is that gtk-qt loads -ljpeg?  
  
fix: run gtkradiant with ugly theme.
