Error:
Sorry, just realized I should have posted this patch here instead of directly on the mailing list.
ftp://mikec.homelinux.org/tremulous/q3map2-trem.zip
Adds support to q3map2 for the standalone version of Tremulous. On *nix systems q3map2 will now know where your Tremulous user directory is. This is needed for compile-time shader commands to work for shaders that are stored in that directory. This was the likely cause of several "walk on water" bugs reported in the Tremulous mapping forum. The Tremulous-specific "nobuild" shader commands are now hard coded into q3map2. No more need for the "-custinfoparams" switch when compiling.
Cause of Error:
- Install Tremulous 1.1.0 (tremulous.net)
- Configure GtkRadiant for Tremulous (http://tremmapping.pbwiki.com/)
- Start GtkRadiant, select Tremulous as the game
- Make a map that meets any or all of the following conditions:
--Use the common-trem/nobuild shaders or a shader with any of the nobuild surfaceparm's set and compile without the -custinfoparms workaround, nobuild won't work.
--(*nix only) Use any shader stored in your tremulous user directory that uses compile-time commands, for example water... Compile and the water will be solid.
