BUG REPORT

CPU/RAM/Operating System: A64 3200+/1GB/winXP sp2
Hard Drive Space: 80GB+
Video Card/OpenGL Drivers: fx5950/FW 71.89
Version of GTKRadiant: public 1.5 both 1-16-05 + 6-5-05 builds

Error:
vertex/edge manipulation is broken.

Cause of Error:
Simply draw a brush and then enter edge/vertex mode and manipulate. It is virtually impossible to get all the vertexes back on the grid and aligned with existing geometry once you try to move a vertex off axis to create new planes in the brush or to simply adjust an existing one (what happened to the face split checkbox in prefs?). One vertex always ends up off grid by a little bit. Also, if any of the surfaces are not parallel with the axes, dragging an edge along one particular axis will cause it to move in others as well. This is inconsistent with the previous versions of gtkradiant. While some of this can be gotten around with the clipping tool, the method is very cumbersome compared to a simple vertex manipulation.
