[Gtkradiant] [Bug 1048] Box surrounding cursor doesn't update correctly after zooming

I have confirmed that this also happens in GNOME.

I have an NVIDIA card, too.  Here's what appears in /etc/sysconfig/hwconf:

  nVidia Corporation|NV5M64 [RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro]

I am using the following driver from NVIDIA:

  NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5336-pkg1.run

I tried upgrading to NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6629-pkg1.run last night, but the
latest driver doesn't work on my system.  It was as if the screen never refreshed.
