Summary: Box surrounding cursor doesn't update correctly after
zooming
Product: GtkRadiant
Version: 1.5
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: editor
AssignedTo: gtkradiant at zerowing.idsoftware.com
ReportedBy: david_costanzo at yahoo.com
The small box surrounding the cursor is not updated properly in the 3D and/or 2D
views after zooming (either using the wheel button on the mouse or pressing
INSERT/DELETE).
When you zoom, the cursor disappears. The next time you move the mouse, the
cursor is drawn in the old location and a small box surrounding the cursor has
the old (pre-zoom) data. You can force a refresh by either moving (in the 3D
view) or scrolling (in the 2D view).
This bug happens on more operations than just zooming. For example, it also
happens when turning in the 3D view.
Reproducability: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open gtkradiant
2) Position the mouse over a 2D view
3) Press INSERT (to zoom out)
4) Move the mouse
What Happens:
After (3), the cursor disappears.
After (4), the cursor reappears, but the place where the cursor used to
be shows the old, pre-zoomed grid-size.
Expected Result:
The cursor does not disappear after (3).
No part of the old grid can be seen after (4).
Here is my configuration:
Fedora Core 2
FVWM2 (window manager)
gtkradiant-1.5.0-2005-01-16.i386.rpm
gtkglext-1.0.6
