Summary: Q1: typo in entity descriptions - "it's" is used where
"its" is intended
Product: GtkRadiant
Version: 1.5
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: game-q2
AssignedTo: gtkradiant at zerowing.idsoftware.com
ReportedBy: david_costanzo at yahoo.com
There are a few misspellings of "its" in the entity descriptions for Quake 1
(in q1.game/id1/entities.ent). Instead of using the possessive adjective "its",
the description uses "it's", which is a contraction of "it is". This is a very
common mistake and is the sort of thing that excites nitpicking pedants, like
myself.
The entities affected are: func_button, func_doorsecret, and trigger_counter.
I am using subversion snapshot 5018.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Configure GtkRadiant to use Quake1 game data.
2) Go to "View -> Entity Inspector".
3) Pull down the top horizontal bar to reveal the list of all entities.
4) Select "func_button". This should update the entity description window.
What Happens:
The description (with my emphasis in asterisks) is:
When a button is touched, it moves some distance in the direction of *it's*
angle, triggers all of *it's* targets, waits some time, then returns to *it's*
original position where it can be triggered again.
Expected Result:
The same thing, expect that each occurrence of "it's" is replaced by "its".
