Summary: Typo in Quake1 description of func_door: "useful" is
spelled as "usefull"
Product: GtkRadiant
Version: 1.5
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: game-q2
AssignedTo: gtkradiant at zerowing.idsoftware.com
ReportedBy: david_costanzo at yahoo.com
There is a typo in the description of the "START_OPEN" flag for the "func_door"
entity in "entities.ent" for Quake1. The typo is a misspelling of the word
"useful" as "usefull".
Typos like often come in groups. It might be worth doing a quick search of the
tree to find other instances of "usefull".
This bug was present as of subversion snapshot 4981.
[NOTE: The "Component is listed as "game-q2". It should really be "game-q1",
but there is no "game-q1" component. The typo *may* be in Quake2, as well, but
I am only using Quake 1]
Reproducibility: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Configure GtkRadiant to use Quake1 game data.
2) Go to "View -> Entity Inspector".
3) Pull down the top horizontal bar to reveal the list of all entities.
4) Select "func_door". This should update the entity description window.
5) Read the description for the START_OPEN flag.
What Happens:
The word "usefull" appears, as in "(not usefull for touch or takedamage doors)."
Expected Result:
The word "useful" appears, as in "(not useful for touch or takedamage doors)."
