Cool. As a programmer, if I was fixing the bug, I would use the method you
described, perhaps also accounting for the fact that there may be multiple .s in
a filename (in windows at least).
Has the other part of my bug report been addressed? Let me clarify it incase it
was a bit hard to understand...
After GTKRadiant failed to save my map correctly with that first error, I saved
it in a subdirectory off of My Documents. I then marked some brushes as detail
in my map. I had been trying to do this with Valve Hammer Editor... again, this
was a Half-Life level... without success, then I remembered my favorite brush
editor supported Half-Life. ;) So, I went to compile my level and I got a
complaint from GTKRadiant that it could not find the compile tool. Come to
think of it, I probably need to set the tool paths >_< but still, the error
dialog that was displayed incorrectly displayed a " instead of an @ in the path
name. Also, note the double // (which I just noticed right now).
"Failed to execute the following command:
C:/WinGame/Steam/SteamApps/donpotts"aol.com/half-life/Radiant-1.4//ZHLT/hlcsg
-wadinclude
c:/WinGame/Steam/SteamApps/donpotts"aol.com/half-life/Radiant-1.4//common-hydra.wad
-connect 127.0.0.1:39000 "C:/Documents and Settings/The Mega-ZZTer/My
Documents/My Maps/mzzt_zelda1.map"
Check that the file exists and that you don't run out of system resources."
BTW I see you use Zoner's tools.
