Those instructions included making gtkglext from Fink. Does that mean that this bug should be 
closed now?

By the way, the current gktglext version in Fink's unstable tree is now 1.0.2 (it was 1.0.0-2 before). 
If you use unstable packages by manually copying their .info and .patch files into your local tree, 
then you need to do that over again to get the latest versions. After copying the files, run the 
command "fink index" so that fink notices the change.

If you update your gtk+2, it may be necessary to force a rebuild of gtkglext.
