There is no Linux setup as RC2 Linux had some bad issues that are still 
being looked at.

The main fixes are JA related. All PNGs should load up fine now, the 
system shaders will show up with their textures (atm that's taken from 
JKII's system textures), and the .shaders are extracted so you can edit 
them directly.

Texture Subsets are not working. That's a known bug, we're still looking 
for a fix. Generally speaking if you want to have a view of the bug 
tracking activity, you should use bugzilla:
