Added the root check, figured it was a bad idea to ask for root.  If they don't know what they are 
doing anyway.

Some of the versions in the m4 file didn't even exist... yet.  Everything runs nice until "/sw/bin/fink 
rebuild radiant"   then it just sits there.  And feedback would be nice.
