Summary: ~/.radiant has wrong ownership and permissions
Product: GtkRadiant
Version: 1.3
Platform: All
OS/Version: MacOS X
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: setup
AssignedTo: ttimo@idsoftware.com
ReportedBy: ttimo@idsoftware.com
Not sure wether that's created during setup (I don't think so). Or at first run.
Or maybe it starts as root, but the $HOME variable points to a user directory?
Should radiant check ownership of the ~/.radiant dir before startup and bail out
if incorrect
<jarodf> no sorry, it's okay now...
<jarodf> had to change the permissions for the .radiant ;//
<TTimo> what were the permissions / ownerships prior to that
<jarodf> root:staff
<jarodf> and everything on but w for groups and others
<TTimo> still have no idea why it would be doing that
<TTimo> and that's in your user directory?
<jarodf> yup
