the memory is kinda dim now, but iirc, it was a nice doesn't need editing sof2 
quakev3.qe4 in the jk2 dir. (i edit em anyway, i hate \ but love /, so i dunno )

this was 1.2.12 btw (sorry i didn't answer that earlier)

all i have is sof2 wolf and q3, but i did a full install anyway.

after i made "note" of everything, editing the stuff was easily done and 
repaired, able to happily map once again.

(btw i don't believe in user error :) )(i still get some sometimes though :( )

i don't have jk2, and also i don't have a *v3.qe4 for jk2 either. and, is there 
supposed to be an mp_entities.def for jk2? i see only an sp_entities.def in the 
scripts dir.
