can t you add an option to the preferences dialog and let the use choose his
own depth buffer setting?
shouldn t be too much work i think
and at next start up it uses the new setting
that way we don t need to reduce the depth buffer for people who`s hardware
support 32 bit
as for stencil buffer on gamedev.net someone told me it uses the same buffer
as the depth buffer on some hardware just taking 8 of 32 bits for the stencil
buffer
this was 2 years ago as i wondered about these damn step artifacts but this
probably changed or wasn t true anyways doesn t matter id say let the use
choose his preferable depth buffer setting
btw in order to compile the latest gtk radiant source code what do i need
SDL? right anything else or is there a documentation? id like to add a few
things to the editor
