EvilTypeGuy, I'm thouroughly impressed...
Old pagefile (swap) stats (Colubia texture pack) from when I coded in the
multiple texture compression option :
DXT1 - release build - Columbia shaders : 685 Megs (RGBA)
DXT3 - release build - Columbia shaders : 756 Megs
DXT5 - release build - Columbia shaders : 749 Megs
Generic/ARB - release build - Columbia shaders : 752 Megs
New stats :
DXT1 - release build - Columbia shaders : 259 Megs (RGBA)
DXT3 - release build - Columbia shaders : 328 Megs
DXT5 - release build - Columbia shaders : 325 Megs
Generic/ARB - release build - Columbia shaders : 325 Megs
Just for kicks...
None - release build - Columbia shaders : 466 Megs
Good stuff!
riant
