Somehow this strikes me as Evil and Wrong(TM). Now adding them to the status
bar, or having a special status bar just for filters would be alright. Of course
you could use the tearoff menu feature and just leave that portion of the
filters menu on your screen too :) (Wow, there really is a use for tearoff
menus! :p)

But the title bar? Ugh.
