currently, if you want to put an .ASE file on a misc_model, you must type in 
the file directly to bypassing the .md3 file selection.  it would be better to 
have a selection for .ase files and be able to render them to aid in 
positioning.  (you need .ase files when it's larger than the model constraints 
of .md3)
