[Gtkradiant] linux and gtkradiant 1.2.10 textures/radiant/notex issue.

hey everyone,

when i try to run gtkradiant i get the error that 
textures/radiant/notex failed to load.  i've searched the web and 
looked through the mailinglist/bugzilla, but i have yet to find a 
solution.

i'm running gentoo linux, with their quake3 1.31 port, with all the pak 
files from quake3 1.30.

the quake3 directory is /opt/quake3 and radiant is in 
/usr/local/games/gtkradiant

can anyone offer any help?
