i think it is working, but the entity window is still showing the original 
entity so it looks like it's not working.
select a misc_model
bring up entity window
change focus back and space clone the ent
now add keys in the entity window.

note that the entity window does not update with your changes, although you 
are changing the cloned entity.  if you deselect and reselect the clone, the 
ent window will update correctly.
