it's good to have options, but i'm not sure that you'd ever want to disable 
the fudge.  with the fudge change, the only possible behavior change would be 
on 45 degree faces.  without the fudge, those faces would have been randomly 
assigned one of the planes depending on the fpu status, so i don't think it 
will break any existing maps.
