------- Additional Comments From michael@johalla.de 2002-11-04 17:29 -------
Hmm, I've not really a good reason for applying this patch, but maybe..

- there will be an overlapping in mod names for quake and rtcw that gtkradiant
will support (but that would be in the future so this patch could wait till
then). Btw. are there any objections to support the WildWest Mod for rtcw?

- I did already a patch to support JK2, SOF2 and STVEF with gtkradiant (not that
it should be included into the binary package you distribute but if somebody is
interested he can build it out of the cvs on his own). I know that there is no
linux client for linux for those games (I'm really disappointed about that. If
ravensoft is only thinking a little bit about building a linux client but have
no knowledge or manpower they should get in contact with me, maybe...., James?)
but I had the chance to test it under wine and it seems to be playable and
compiling the maps can be done with q3map2. When both patches are included I can
continue with the one that fixes all your FIXME comments in radiant/main.cpp
(it's almost done, only need to split it into a lot of small patches) and some
other stuff that screams for refactoring :).

And before I'll forget this, it would only be consequential if you extract the
quake3-pak into it's own cvs branch. That would speed-up "cvs update"
significant. Ups, I'm now really far away for this bugreport.

Bye (oh my english is so bad, I need some more practice..)
