when in floating window mode, if you start q3 (full screen), the floating window
(s) reposistion themselves to the bottom, messing up my 
carefully_arranged_to_maximize_available_viewing_area windows. (i don't see how 
anybody can work in those panes :) )(i gave my secondary monitor away btw)

which brings us back to bug 85. we don't need no stinkin buttons, but a 
maximized window would be really nice.
