Some EF information:
(use as a FAQ for setup)

this was the answer I got:
 1. Do you have Q3 or RtCW?
If you have one of those do like this
2. Make a new intall of it if you don't want to screw that game.

3. Install GTKRadiant 1.2.1 and 1.2.7 THIS IS VERY IMPORANT: Change Radiant
to Tools(the step after the game path).

4. Copy all files that are in BaseEF to baseq3(if you use RtCW, main).

5. Copy the EF scripts files to Q3 scripts files.

6. Copy SP_entites.def and HM_entities.def from EF tools folder to
baseq3/scripts and baseq3/tools(not sure whitch path is the correct one.

7. Copy all files that are ../../Star Trek Voyager Elite Force/ to
../../Quake3/

Now it's time to setup GTK.

8. Go to Project Settings

9. Here you have to make sure you set all the paths to were Q3/RtCW is
installed
Basepath - ../../Quake3/baseq3/ or ../../RtCW/main
remotebasepath - ../../Quake3/baseq3/ or ../../RtCW/main
entitypath - ../../Quake3/Tools/
texturepath - ../../Quake3/baseq3/textures or ../../RtCW/main/textures
autosave - ../../Quake3/baseq3/maps/autosave.map or
../../RtCW/main/maps/autosave.map
mapspath - ../../Quake3/baseq3/maps/ or ../../RtCW/main/maps/

I think this is all you need.
