I have a problem with GenSurf under GtkRadiant 1.2.9 Version.
When I'm starting the GenSurf Plugin and the go to Extents, I got a GtkLabel 
bug.
The bug appears on the GtkRadiant Console.
And it looks like this:
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from (NULL) pointer to `GtkLabel'
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtklabel.c: line 260: assertion `GTK_IS_LABEL (label)' 
failed

Ok, the Plugin does not crash and I'm working without problems, but the 
announcement always appears.
Perhaps you can give a look on it.
