Summary: Another feature request! - axis lock on vertex drag in
                    3d view
           Product: GtkRadiant
           Version: 1.2
        OS/Version: Windows 2000
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: editor
        AssignedTo: ttimo@idsoftware.com
        ReportedBy: dan.e@ntlworld.com
When 'trisouping' (or vertex editing generally) it would be exceptionally
useful to be able to lock any vertex drags in the 3d view to one axis (usually
the z-axis but not always) as when dealing with a piece of terrain for
example, all kinds of horrid things can happen if you drag the vertex along
the x or y axis, and it is easy to do so by accident when dragging in the 3d
view. Could be implemented either as modifier keys like in photoshop (eg hold
down shift to restrict drags to the z-axis) or a set of radio buttons for x y
and z lock. or both.
