ok, if I have followed Spog's changes, plugins/map module is now obsolete? Having map/ mapq1/ mapq3/ looks to me like a waste of energy. Between mapq1 and mapq3 (maphl) we could simply have the same source and some simple #iddef .. otherwise generic updates to the API will be painful to propagate around. mapxml is a seperate case because the code is vastly different.
