Another I can guess is due to the precision differences in floating point
math on Intel chips. I forget the specifics, but basically in certain floating
point modes the AMD FPU's are more accurate. This is probably causing this error
indirectly.

So, basically what Randy Reddig said, but possibly for the reason above.
