           Summary: $RAD_DIR/.map directory not created on setup
           Product: GtkRadiant
           Version: 1.1-TA.1-nightly
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: setup
        AssignedTo: ttimo@idsoftware.com
        ReportedBy: ramses0@yahoo.com

Hi. GtkRad 1.1.1-RC, Sep. 18 2001 edition, running under Linux.

When trying to compile a map for the first time, Radiant complained about not
being able to find directory:

/usr/local/games/GtkRadiant-1.1.1-RC/.map

so...

$ su
# mkdir /usr/local/games/GtkRadiant-1.1.1-RC/.map
# exit
$ q3radiant

and it stops complaining (but still wont compile due to the "ParseEntity" error
bug I reported earlier).
Assuming it's a problem with the setup script, but I have no idea why Radiant
would need to read from or write to a hidden directory it doesn't have
permissions to. Is this directory necessary?
