           Summary: texture window problems
           Product: GtkRadiant
           Version: 1.1-TA.1-nightly
        OS/Version: Windows 2000
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: editor
        AssignedTo: ttimo@idsoftware.com
        ReportedBy: mkc@rasterproductions.com

Kind of tough to explain...

In floating windows mode, if the texture window overlaps the camera window,
selecting a texture will register the mouse click onto the face behind it in
the camera window, texturing that face with the texture you selected.

<K> in floating windows mode, if you have the texture window overlapping the
camera, it textures the brush (in the cam window) behind the texture you select
<djbob> k: lemme just check
<djbob> dont see what u are on about
<K> do you have the texture window overlapping the camera?
<djbob> yes
<djbob> gimme a screengrab
<K> ok
<K> http://www.rasterproductions.com/mkc/stuff
<K> it's the three untitled shots
<K> 1 is just the layout, 2 is after I've selected caulk, and 3 is the cam
window where the floor is textured
<djbob> erm
<djbob> k
<djbob> i still dont see what u are on about
<K> ok...the caulk shader is in the part of the texture window that overlaps
the camera
<djbob> right...
<G_DeWan> I think he means when you click a texture in the texture browser, it
gets picked up in the 3d window and textures the brush at that pixel.
<djbob> ahhh
<K> when I select caulk, somehow it registers the click though onto the camera
window behind
<djbob> gotcha
<K> yeah...thanks G_DeWan

Probably more information than you need, but as I said -- tough to explain.
The screenshots that illustrate the problem are still at
