Way to reproduce one of the crashes: start radiant normal view mode (most left 
option in preferences panel), go to preferences dialog, set to floating 
viewmode, hit ok, hit yes on restart thing, alt tab out of radiant, alt tab in. 
Crash.

Problem is that values were applied immediately, expecting that the user would 
restart radiant straightaway. The following patch fixes this bug.

BTW, the SGIOpenGL flag isn't settable anymore in the preferences panel. Are we 
still using this?
