you haven't specified which version of q3map you're running...
I assume you mean the one in the latest nightly build (1.1.2-11132001).
If so.. please attach the map source to this bug - it might help us to 
reproduce the crash in a debug environment.
Also.. 'instruction @ "0x00404bdd" referenced memory at "0x05eae000"', is that 
for -vis or -vlight or both?
