i made a bevel.  i thickened the bevel.  from the front view i make the left 
side and the bottom side perfectly flat.  still from the front view i take the 
left side "thickened" patch, and move the vertices.  there is no problem untill 
i make the vertices perfectly even with the front view patch mesh.  what 
happens is when i alt tab, it takes me way off grid to the left.  i go back on 
to the grid where im working, and press esc to unselect the patch mesh, it 
disapears.  if you need a better description plz email me.
