1.1TA Final (and the RC's too) will completely discard hidden brushes on a 
seemingly random basis.  They cannot be unhidden, and are not saved with the 
map data. I've attempted to reproduce this error, but have not been able to 
find a sequence of events that replicate it.  It can happen at the beginning of 
an editing session, or after the editor has been open for hours.
