i have no problems with the 3d viewport but am unable to see some bezier
patches in the other viewports, (its not because i have trouble seeing them -
the lines arent visible at all! + this bug was noticed by another person on
rec.games.computer.quake.editing)
the best way to describe this is that i cant see any patch mesh that has no
surface area facing the viewport.
for example if i create a brush and convert to curve>cylinder i cant see it
from the xy/top view. if i were to use selection>rotate>rotateX on it i would
then be able to see it in xy but wouldnt be able to see it in xz.
another example: if i were to make a brush into a "simple patch mesh" i can see
it in xy/top but not xz or yz. if i were to use selection>rotate>rotateX on it
i would then be able to see it in xz but not yz or xy.
last example: if i were to make a brush and convert to curve>cone i can see it
in all the viewports because there is surface area visible in all 3 views.
i used the clean option and created this console log from the default settings.
it is from me starting radiant, drawing a brush, making it a cylinder, then
closing radiant. my videocard is a 3Dlabs vx1 32MB agp model.
