I checked the root dir of codmw3. Steam.dll is there. I can’t join the server that I am hosting through the internet. I do see it listed on internet through steam and as Lan. I can join from Lan. It says when I try to join the server from server browser on steam: server rejected our connection request

OK. IC. I thought that everyone just talked in random about everything. OOOPSY. Of course there is a logical system in place.
Thanks. I will do it correctly.

Kenneth,

In the future just send a new email to cod at icculus.org when you have something you would like to discuss. Replying to an email with a new subject is not the right way to do it but no worries.

I was told from a member to just ask the question public. So I did. Not sure on Hijacking anything. Maybe I am missing something. As how to ask a question. Please inform me the proper way to do so. That will make you happy.

I've started a new thread for your question. Please reply to this, and not the other thread.

First off, you're hijacking a thread that has nothing to do with your question.
Having said that, I'll attempt to help you.

You're on a home LAN. Is the Dell PE 1800 using an internet routable ip address?

If so, is it possible that you ISP is denying connection?
Have you tried connecting to other services running on the PE 1800?

If not, are you correctly forwarding traffic on the required ports from your router to the PE
1800, or have a DMZ set up for the PE 1800?

I am running a COD MW3 dedicated server at home on a dell poweredge 1800.
I can join the server from Lan. I can not join through internet using steam server list. I assume
that it has something to do with my game running on the same port on another pc on the same
      network.

Could someone help me fix this. Thanks in advance. I did Google it with no luck.
