I dont do that and Im behind NAT. I set the internal IP and port and just forward the public IP port to the internal in the router.

+set fs_basepath /home/cod4-2 +set fs_homepath /home/cod4-2 +set fs_savepath /home/cod4-2 +exec serversetting.cfg +set dedicated 2 +set net_ip 192.168.1.50 +set net_port 28940 +set ui_maxclients "40" +map_rotate

and all my servers show on the list.

external ip 12.152.181.68
internal ip 192.168.1.50

If your behind a nat router. You need to set the external IP on the command
line and you need to forward ports to the machine running the game in order
for it to show up on the net. This is same for all COD series games.

Sorry, I assumed "cod4"/main

Either way "main" or the mod directory should have some sort of console
log file being generated. :)
