[cod] variable save

Found a temporary solution ... I'm sure there is a better one.
dvarlist dumps all current variables. I then imported that into excel (for
the text parsing capabilities using fixed width) and isolated the dvars and
their values. I then pasted that back out into my vi terminal and saved
that in my cfg.
If anyone has a cleaner method, I'm all ears! LOL
