To install cod5 from the DVD and upgrade to patch 1.1 follow these  
steps:

1. copy the zone and main folders from the DVD to the cod5_root  
directory

2. Download the latest pbsetup from http://www.evenbalance.com/

3. Download the updated files to update to patch 1.1 from
http://acm.umflint.edu/~masimmon/cod5/patch/patch1.1.zip

4. Uzip the patch1.1.zip file into the cod5_root/zone/Lang/ ensuring  
the overwrite option is enabled.  This will overwrite 13 files.

5. When the Linux bin comes out install it into the cod5_root directory

6. Run the pbsetup file

7. Run the Linux binary

8. Enjoy!!!!
