[cod] CoD2 http redirect

Silly question, but do you have download enabled in your client?

Also, I think you need to have the path in your URL as well.   the  
cod2/ takes me to a directory that shows only one map and a whole  
bunch of directories.

If I'm reading this right, the line should be:

seta sv_wwwBaseURL "http://www.neikes-net.de/cod2/main/"
