I guess it's carried over from COD.

Subject: [cod] Not multi-threaded?
One thing we are noticing is that on our dual CPU boxes, when we have 1
CoD:UO server running, we get 1 cpu with about 80% load and the other at
0%. Sure, we can run 2 servers on the box, but if each server only uses
1 CPU, then there is a cap on the number of players = the individual CPU
Mhz.
Shouldn't these servers be multi-threaded and share the load across CPUs?
PS we have noticed that mp_cassino has a much higher CPU load than other
maps, even with vehicles disabled.
