Noob Admin Needs Help

Anyone got time to help a noob admin (with 0 training) get 1.5 working on his fairly new CoD Linux server?  It is working currently with 1.4.  1.5 (large) is downloaded to the server (still in .tar.bz2 format) and that's where I stand.
