Linux vs Windows

Hi there..

Not to start a heated debate but for running COD:UO is there much of a
difference between Windows and Linux?  What I'm asking is basically.. is
there any feature differences etc?

I setup a quick test box and everything ran really smooth under linux
but couldn't get punkbuster running for example.. think it was just a
config issue on my part...

Anyways, anything people have to share on this would be great.. I'm a
linux geek so it only makes sense to run it under Linux...;)
