His point was that there are better places (like IRC) for one-liners 
that contain nothing like "me too" or "EA sucks" etc.

But it's not as if the lenght determines the quality of an email, but a 
lot of useless stuff is posted on this mailing list. What I am surprised 
about is that actually less useless stuff is posted on the linux server 
forums.
