Actually, I recently resolved this problem thanks to a post on the forums:

You can see the cpu chart for my servers here:

If you look at the second graph, you can see where the idle cpu usage 
dropped to almost nothing in the middle of Tuesday. Give it a try.. 
might work for you too.
