MODS / Desert Combat

 Is it possible to use any of the mods that are out there, for
 instance, Desert Combat, with the Linux server?  I installed the
 Desert Combat mod under Windows to its own directory, and then tossed
 all of mods/Desert_Combat into the mods directory for the Linux
 server.

 How would I get it to use the mods/Desert_Combat directory and is
 there any chance this is going to work at all? :)
