The laggyness is more a function of processor than bandwidth. I notice
that yours is 700 Mhz. Check out our server at 216.44.36.10 (Grey Wolves
Clan). It's on a 1.6 Ghz AMD with only a T1, but it runs with little or
no lag, mostly.

Heh, all these listed problems. I just wanted to say that I have a
working server in 2 days, thanks the answers here that I did and didn't
ask.  Thanks guys.

 

If anyone wants to check it out, jump into 216.106.81.62
(dev.nova-labs.net) in bf1942 on the default port.  It seems a bit laggy
at times, in-spite of being on a 2 mbps / 2 mbps connection.  I am still
trying to figure that one out.
