bz2 file

I downloaded the latest beta update.
How do you extract the bz2 file.

I tried tar -xvfj bf1942.....bz2 and keep getting.

 

[root at RHServer bf1942]# tar -xvfj bf1942-lnxded-betaupdate-build-1042921583.tar.bz2
tar: j: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
