No, it's really not. (I know you're winking, but I think this deserves a response).

They've already got their money from whomever is cheating, right? They're obviously not going to get a refund just because they've been banned from (some) servers.

Now, what is better for business, a cheater-infested gaming community, or one in which new players can be somewhat assured that the people they're about to play against aren't using some new uber-hack?
