In fact, this is not the whole truth...

If you're using W2K-based servers you can use links (not the
windows style links, of course) - but NTFS supports hardlinks...

So you can made a copy of the directory structure and put the
links in there... the only files you have to copy into this
directory are the gamespy-files, as they are opened exclusively
by the server...
