COOP game. Should bots Work?

  I been trying to setup a coop game  but when entering game all the bots seam to be on bottom left of map so i cant see them within the game. all the bot's names apers when pressing Tab key . i have applied the latest update(bf1942-lnxded-betaupdate-build-1040442243.tar.bz2) but i still get the same problem. Should bots work?
  I'm running a RH7.3 p111600 384Mb ram.
